We are honoured and appreciate your interest in the Earthball Community Festival.
We invite you to know the joy of joining with others throughout the world in the spirit of peace and peace building. This festival is an intentional opportunity to connect folks in our community to explore positive values and to celebrate our social capacity for cooperative play and the creative potential of the human spirit.
We are proud to introduce amazing games to new audiences and to provide a forum for play, celebration, community building and artistic expression. In contributing to new understandings of peace and nonviolence, we gather together and create unlimited potential for change through consciously focusing our intentions in a positive direction. As we play these games we engage in intentional acts of goodwill and cooperation. We are also active participants in creating a culture of peace, for ourselves, for each other and for the world.
The International Day of Peace (Sept.21) is part of the effort that is happening throughout the world to create a culture of Peace. This festival responds to the longing within the heart to begin or continue a journey that supports how we co create and build that culture and possibly transform who we are. This opening of the heart leads us to aspire to become ever more practised in the ways of goodwill, wisdom and action. Positive creativeness is a fundamental quality of the human spirit. This festival also celebrates and promotes positive social change. As we bring recognition to peace, we create a world that works for all of us based on the principles of respect and the dignity of all life. Be a peace torchbearer! Come and join us and 'play' a part.
